Fastest Mass-Produced Motorcycle Unveiled

The world’s fastest mass-produced motorcycle is among Suzuki’s new offerings.
July 2, 2007

Las Vegas, NV - The world’s fastest production motorcycle was one of 14 new or significantly updated motorcycles and ATVs that American Suzuki Corp. unveiled to its dealer network Wednesday.

The number of new or significantly updated machines represents one of the biggest - if not the biggest - waves of new product the company has recently unveiled in one year and represents a dramatic upturn from September when the Suzuki showed off three new products.

Perhaps the most significant of the new vehicles is the 195-hp Hayabusa, which the company says is the fastest mass-produced motorcycle in the world, not to mention the quickest. The bike will be available in October and retail for $11,999.
